HYTRONIK HID ballasts, build-in types (IP43), with lead wires
These HID ballast with lead wires are suitable for both CDM, CHM and HCI lamps.
They combine compact, high power factor and low THD (<10) with automatic self diagnose. They indicate failures and abnormal operations like ignition failure, overheat, lamp failure, EOL etc.
These HYTRONIK HID ballasts are available in 20, 35, 70 and 150 Watt, wire lenght 20 cm, other wire lenghts on demand.

Failure & abnormal diagnose and indication:
The HYTRONIK HID ballasts are programmed with diagnosis on failure and abnormal operation. The HYTRONIK HID ballasts monitors the fixture and send error signals to a LED in the ballast. The signal is carried through an optical fiber to a Lens on the enclosure of the fixture.
The signal is displayed as a number of red flashes which indicates different errors. The error signals are indicated in 10 seconds intervals and 1 second between each flash.
Failure & abnormal function codes:
1 Flash: Perfect function, NO failure, Action: NO action needed.
2 Flashes: Over-heated, Ballast gets too hot, Action: Analyze reason.
3 Flashes: Lamp failure, Ignition timed out, Action: Analyze reason.
4 Flashes: Lamp failure, Lamp End of life, Action: Change lamp.
5 Flashes: Lamp failure, Lamp voltage is to low, Action: Change lamp.
6 Flashes: Lamp failure, Lamp voltage is to high, Action: Change lamp.
7 Flashes: Ballast failure, Ballast doesn't work, Action: Change ballast.
Apart from the error signals, the LED also displays a single steady signal when the fixture tries to ignite the lamp.
Approvals and standards:
The HYTRONIK HID ballasts are tested and approved according to EN61347-2-12, EN61347-1, EN55015, EN61547, EN61000-3-2 and EN61000-3-3.
